SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

Estonia is still half-covered by forests and ranks among the cleanest, greenest countries in the world — with Tallinn having recently earned the title of European Green Capital 2023. Our air is deemed among the purest on the planet, and half our electricity consumption already comes from renewables, with bold plans to reach 100% by 2030. We’re proud to live here, and we take responsibility for helping keep Estonia special for generations to come.

1. A Tree Planted for Every Guest

For every guest, we plant a tree — either getting hands dirty ourselves in local tree-planting initiatives, or by donating to trusted NGOs who do the same around the world. We believe in investing in a future we might never see, just as others have done for us — memorably captured in the popular proverb “Blessed is he who plants trees under whose shade he will never sit.”

2. Leave No Trace

We follow the “leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photos” rule, treading lightly as grateful guests, taking care to leave nature exactly as we found it.

3. Local Loyalty

We only recommend genuine local businesses, eateries, and crafts — with a special focus on green and sustainable enterprises. Rest assured you'll always get honest tips and advice from us, helping you give the tourist traps a wide berth with confidence.

4. Small Groups, Less Impact

Private, small-group tours mean less crowding and more flexibility. This ensures a more personal and authentic experience for you, and no disturbance for locals.

5. Inclusion & Accessibility

True sustainability is inclusive. We adapt routes and pacing to guests’ needs, making our tours accessible to all backgrounds and mobilities. Everyone is welcome.

6. Continuous Improvement

As a small company, we’re nimble and always learning. We welcome your feedback and ideas, and regularly update our practices in line with Estonia’s own evolving sustainability standards.
