BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Tallinn InSight, we aim to keep things clear, transparent, and respectful — just like our tours. Below you’ll find everything you need to know before booking. If you feel that anything’s missing, please let us know, and we’ll update this page promptly.

💬 How to Book

​​Booking a tour with Tallinn InSight is simple and flexible:

  • Browse available tours on our website. Choose your preferred tour, date & time, and confirm your group size to calculate the final payment amount.

  • Enter your contact details, your preferred tour starting point, and any special requests, preferences, or restrictions if applicable.

  • Review all details and proceed to secure payment via our payment platform.

  • If you wish to book for a group of 9 or more people, a mixed group of Adults and Children, request a unique tour route, or customize one of our existing tours, please fill out the "CUSTOMIZE YOUR TOUR | GET A QUOTE" form. We'll respond promptly, and once we agree on the details, you’ll receive a secure payment link to confirm your booking.

Prefer to speak with us directly? You’re welcome to book by email or phone — during summer peak season, we respond around the clock, seven days a week. If you haven’t heard back from us within 24 hours, please reach out again in case your message was accidentally filtered by our email filters.

A booking is legally binding once you’ve submitted your booking and completed payment through our website or a secure payment link. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms of this Booking & Cancellation Policy. Your booking is confirmed once you receive our confirmation email.

Before your tour, you’ll receive an email with all necessary details, including your guide’s contact information and the meeting point (usually, your guide will collect you from your accommodation in Tallinn, unless agreed otherwise). ​Our service is considered delivered on the day and time of your booked tour or experience.

💳 Payment Methods

Full pre-payment is required to confirm your tour. You can pay securely via:

  • Credit card (Visa / MasterCard)

  • Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut, N26

  • Online banking (Estonian, Baltic & Finnish banks)
     

Once payment is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all details. All prices shown are final and in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes.

Please note: Cash payment on the day as an alternative payment method has to be agreed in advance. To do that, please submit your request via the "CUSTOMIZE YOUR TOUR | GET A QUOTE" form.

All online payments are securely processed via MakeCommerce payment platform (Maksekeskus AS). Personal data (such as name and contact info) is shared with our payment operator only as needed for payment processing and regulatory compliance.

🔁 Booking Changes

Plans change — we get it! You can easily change and modify your booking:

  • Free of charge up to 48 hours before your tour.

  • Within 48 hours, we’ll always do our best to accommodate any last-minute changes if possible, but cannot guarantee availability.
     

If you’re part of a group and someone can’t attend last minute, refunds or rescheduling for that person may not be possible.

❌ Cancellations & Refunds

 

Our refund policy is straightforward, no questions asked:

  • Cancel more than 48 hours before your tour: 100% refund.

  • Cancel less than 48 hours before your tour, or no-show: Partial or no refund, depending on circumstances. If possible, we'll offer to move your booking to another suitable date.

  • For non-standard custom tours or external services (e.g., wheelchair rental, specialist guides), different terms may apply — these will always be clearly stated at booking to ensure full transparency.

Please note that, according to Section 53(4) of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act, the usual 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services on specific dates. However, we still offer a full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Please email us at connect@tallinninsight.com as soon as possible in case of any last-minute changes.

🌩 Force Majeure & Emergencies

If we ever need to cancel your tour due to severe weather, illness, strikes, or other force majeure (which has not happened yet), you’ll receive:

  • A full refund, or

  • A tour credit valid for up to 24 months to rebook any of our experiences

🤝 Participation & Responsibility

You participate at your own risk. We always advise on safety, but common sense and awareness are key, especially on outdoor or active tours.

  • We reserve the right to refuse participation without refund to anyone intoxicated, disruptive, or a danger to themselves or others (though this has never happened — on the contrary, we always seem to end up with the loveliest people).

  • Please arrive on time at the agreed meeting point. We can't refund missed tours due to lateness, but we'll always do our best to adjust or wait when needed to make sure the day can proceed as per our plans!

📮 Complaints & Dispute Resolution

We’re committed to exceptional service. If you’re unhappy or wish to make a complaint, please contact us first at connect@tallinninsight.com — we’ll try to resolve the issue quickly, fairly, and responsively.

If we can’t resolve it (luckily yet to happen), you have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) of the Estonian Consumer Protection Board: https://komisjon.ee

🧾 Corporate & Invoicing

Need an invoice or company documentation? Let us know — we’re happy to provide itemized invoices for your records. All prices shown are final and include all applicable charges.

🔐 Privacy & Data Security

Your personal data is protected and never shared with third parties without your consent. All payments are processed via secure, encrypted systems.
