This tour begins with a walking exploration of Old Town, followed by drives and walks through various completely unique districts of Tallinn. We'll stroll through a 18th century royal park with a splendid baroque palace, witness the rejuvenation of derelict old industrial areas with ultramodern architecture or bohemian touch. En route you will see everything from sprawling Soviet era sleeping quarters to leafy suburbs full of forest parks and villas.

Since our liberation from Soviet occupation in 1991, Estonia has thrived, overcoming its past. This tour explores the horrors and absurdities of the Soviet regime in and around Tallinn, including visits to some of the last accessible military ruins. This tour doesn't beat around the bush, but we can tone down the narrative if you want to bring children along.
